•   Office administration / Temp PositionsIf your country has a Work & Holiday agreement with Australia, then a Work & Holiday Visa is a great way to be able to study, travel and work with the greatest flexibility. You can study part-time and work full-time or you can work part-time and study full-time. You can travel when you like and study and work when you like. You can study up to 17 weeks on a Work & Holiday visa.Our Student Services department will help student to:
•   Open a bank account. (for example CBA Student Account)
•   Apply for a tax-file number. (Essential for working in Australia)
•   Get a mobile phone.
•   Prepare a resume. (Setup to an Australian Professional Standard)
• Practice writing job interview cover letters.
•   Search for and apply for jobs. (Job search agencies online and in person)
•   Practice interviewing language and techniques.
•   Learn about Australian pay rates and working conditions. (Minimum Wages and Award Rates)A few things to remember:
•   English is not your first language, so you must be realistic about the kinds of jobs you attempt to apply for. The less English you have, the less choice you will have in certain jobs.
•   Do not expect to earn a big salary!
•   If you are on a Student Visa you can only legally work 40 hours per fortnight (2 weeks).
•   If you are on a Working Holiday visa you can work full-time.
•   If you are a on a Working Holiday visa you can work for one employer for up to 6 months.
