Afonso Caxala – Director of Studies

Afonso joins CLA as our Director of Studies, having taught and managed at various English language institutions since 1995. A graduate of the Masters of Education (TESOL) from the University of Sydney with merit, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CLA. Afonso can be contacted for all CLA academic and student management related enquiries as well as English placement testing. He also is fluent in a number of languages including English, Portuguese,  French , Spanish, Korean and Mandarin.

Carolina is our onshore-based contact for all applications and enrolments for CLA programs. She is also our first point of contact for students when they start at CLA. She speaks both English and Spanish.
